Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma visits SINOTRUK

A delegation led by Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma who was paying a state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping visited SINOTRUK on the afternoon of December 3. Chairman Ma Chunji and Executive Director Liu Wei of SINOTRUK warmly welcomed the visitors, showed them around the Strength Laboratory and Engine Emission Laboratory of the National Heavy Duty Truck Research Center, and accompanied them to visit SINOTRUK's heavy duty trucks, all-wheel-drive heavy duty trucks, protective transporters and other exhibits selling well in the international market.

Mr. Ma introduced SINOTRUK, as well as its situation in R&D and international market development, especially its JV operations and cooperation in Africa. He expected President Koroma and the Sierra Leonean government to further support SINOTRUK in developing the Sierra Leonean and African markets.
Mr. Koroma visited the exhibits enthusiastically. He asked questions while listening to an introduction to the technologies and properties of the exhibits. Mr. Ma and Mr. Liu gave replies. Hearing that SINOTRUK tightens quality control early at the stages of design and testing, SINOTRUK's product quality has been up to advanced international standards, SINOTRUK has sold over 200 heavy duty trucks to Sierra Leone in recent years and these trucks are popular with local customers, he nodded in appreciation.
